What this is

Strangeland

What remains unsettled is named in Still Open, on purpose.

The fixed points

Key dates

The cohort board

Leaders

Who is in the program, which community they serve, and the activation they're building. One row per person, written by that person. The board makes it easy to see who's doing what, so help and ideas can find each other.

Where to Stay

Costs aren't settled and this page won't collect anything. Splitting lodging gets sorted between the people staying together. This page records what was decided; it never moves money. It's on Still Open.

The map desk

Places

Where activations happen, where the cohort meets, and a live line of who is where right now. Nobody shares a location; you share a sentence, and it expires on its own.

Add a place

Same place name edits the existing entry.

Six months

Calendar

The whole program on one calendar: cohort sessions, retreats, deadlines, the Jewish calendar, and every leader's activations.

Want these in your own calendar? Subscribe from Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, and dated plans show up there too.

Add a plan or an idea

You're in on anything you add. Others tap in.

The shared bench

Needs

What a leader needs for an activation — a space, speakers, a rabbi's hour, forty chairs — and what another leader already has, left out on one bench so the two can find each other. Attach a place to a need and it becomes a pin in Places.

How this works

How this works

Short list, and every item comes with its how — where it goes, who to tell. Nothing is quietly implied beyond what's written here.

Being figured out

Still Open

Anything not actually settled lives on this wall instead of being written up as though it were. Nothing comes down until the people it binds have decided it.

Built to travel

One living room, many cohorts.

This is the Strangeland instance of a portable cohort instrument. The facts change, the people change, and the rooms keep the same promises. You are helping test it; say so when it gets in your way.
